Terms of Service
Effective date: · Version 2026-10-24
The service and your agreement
KONEK is operated under the name KONEK DIGITAL. These Terms apply to the platform website, dashboard, NFC staff app and customer loyalty pages. Creating a platform account requires an affirmative acceptance of these Terms and acknowledgment of the Privacy Policy. Use accurate details and create a business workspace only if authorized to represent that business.
Accounts and authorized access
Keep passwords, PINs, loyalty card links and reward codes secure. Owners are responsible for granting and removing staff access. Do not access another business's records, share another person's credentials, evade attempt limits, forge purchases or reward claims, or interfere with the service. Remember this device is for a device you control; sign out on shared devices. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
One account, separate business memberships
A customer's phone number and PIN identify one KONEK loyalty account that can be linked to multiple participating businesses. Each business maintains its own program, balance, rewards and transaction history. Joining one business does not enroll you in every business on KONEK, transfer points between businesses or authorize access to another business's private records. Use /rewards to sign in and view the businesses whose programs you have joined.
When a customer requests membership, authorized staff may enroll an existing account using the phone number without requesting its PIN or an email code. The account's saved name, phone number and email are reused for that membership, and its PIN stays the same. A first-time customer creates and confirms a PIN when creating their account. This enrollment process is not proof of phone ownership or permission to sign in, reset a PIN or redeem a reward.
Before enrolling a customer, the business must explain this reuse and sharing of information and establish an appropriate lawful basis, including obtaining and recording consent where required. Businesses must not enroll people merely because their phone numbers are known, purchased or publicly available. Confirm the number with the customer and honor applicable privacy requests. A welcome email or silence after receiving it does not replace the required notice or permission.
Branches and staff responsibilities
Membership and points are shared across branches of the same business. An existing member does not need to register again when visiting another branch, and can use their phone number or that business's linked NFC card. Business-branded NFC cards remain specific to their business. A recorded registration branch identifies where membership started; it does not restrict the member to that branch.
Owners and Admins assign team roles and branches. Managers work within their assigned branch and can invite cashiers for that branch. Team members must use their own authorized account, enter accurate purchase amounts and record only legitimate customer activity. Do not award points for fabricated purchases, falsely confirm challenges, collect rewards for someone without authority, or use customer details for personal purposes. The business is responsible for supervising its staff and promptly removing access when it is no longer authorized.
Team invitations, one active business and deletion
Staff access is limited to one active business per account. Active business ownership also counts for this restriction. This rule applies to business workspace access, not to customer loyalty memberships. An invitation that has not been accepted grants no business access. If an account has pending invitations from more than one business, accepting one prevents acceptance of the others while that business membership remains active. A business cannot invite an account that is already active with another business. KONEK rechecks eligibility when invitations are accepted and memberships are activated.
An authorized owner or administrator may delete a team member within their permitted role and scope. Deletion permanently removes that business membership and ends access through it. It does not delete the person's shared KONEK account, previous transactions or staff attribution already recorded in the audit history. Invitations for the deleted membership are removed or invalidated. Account deletion and requests to erase other personal information are handled separately under the Privacy Policy. Staff must stop using the former business's information when authorization ends and appropriately remove local copies, subject to lawful retention requirements.
A deleted team member may be invited again using the same account email if they are not active with another business. Returning requires a fresh invitation and acceptance; an old password, session or invitation does not restore deleted access. Before joining a new business, the current business must end the active membership. Each business keeps its own transactions and staff history; changing employers does not transfer or combine those records or give a new employer access to the former business's records. Memberships archived under earlier versions remain inactive and may be reviewed and deleted by an authorized administrator; they do not restore access on their own.
Points, rewards and transactions
Each participating business defines its earning rates, reward availability, limits, challenges and expiry rules. Points are loyalty benefits rather than money or a transferable cash balance. A reward request remains subject to the business's rules and availability. Each redemption requires the customer's PIN, even on a remembered device. Ready reward codes may be used once and may expire. Contact the participating business first about a purchase, points dispute or reward fulfillment; the platform records and supports the program. Staff register members and process points and collections in the KONEK app; dashboard access supports review and permitted program management.
Reward collection, challenges and vouchers
Offers may be available at all branches or only selected branches. An issued reward can be collected at any eligible branch of its business, subject to its displayed validity and availability. The branch availability recorded for an issued claim may differ from a later version of the offer. A claim code or QR code is private and can be collected once. Staff can validate and collect an already-issued claim using its code; keep it private until collection. A screenshot or previous success message does not authorize a second collection.
Challenges follow their published targets, dates, participating branches and confirmation rules. Automatic purchase goals use recorded eligible transactions; manual goals depend on an authorized staff confirmation. Once-per-day limits, quantities required in one order and cumulative targets are different rules. Separate orders do not satisfy a single-order requirement unless the offer expressly allows it. Challenge schedules use Philippine time unless otherwise stated.
Discounts and vouchers may have minimum-purchase, value, validity and branch restrictions. A business may separately disable purchase points for an order that earns a voucher and for an order that uses one. Merely holding an unused voucher does not block points on later eligible purchases. Review the displayed offer and order total before confirming; do not assume vouchers can be combined or exchanged for cash unless the business expressly permits it.
Confirmation, corrections and refunds
Wait for a confirmed result before treating an award, redemption, challenge confirmation or collection as complete. A processing screen, saved local balance or interrupted connection is not proof of success. If confirmation is uncertain, use the app's retry or status flow for the same transaction rather than creating a fresh order solely to repeat it. Duplicate requests do not entitle anyone to duplicate benefits.
Authorized owner corrections and refunds are recorded with reasons instead of silently deleting the original history. A refunded, reversed or incorrectly recorded purchase may reduce earned points, change challenge progress or invalidate related uncollected benefits under the applicable program rules. An adjustment can affect available points, including future earnings where earlier benefits were already spent. Customers and staff may ask the business to review an incorrect record; mandatory rights and appropriate dispute processes remain available. Activity alerts assist review and do not establish fraud by themselves.
Service messages and account security
A new account or new business membership generates a welcome message to the saved email address with links to the business page and /rewards. Existing members retain their current phone number and PIN. We also send relevant verification, recovery, invitation and support messages. Delivery may be delayed or fail; membership can remain saved even when the message has not arrived. Do not repeat registration solely to obtain another email. Report unfamiliar memberships or incorrect contact details to the business or KONEK.
We do not include a customer's PIN in these messages. Verification codes and invitation links are private, expire, and are for the stated purpose. Neither enrollment nor acceptance of these Terms is blanket permission for unrelated marketing. Businesses must meet the applicable requirements for their separate promotional communications.
Business content and customer information
You retain rights in the business content you supply and permit KONEK to host, process and display it to operate the features you request. Supply only logos, images, text and other materials you own or are authorized to use. Do not upload unlawful, misleading or infringing content. Businesses must handle customer information lawfully, provide appropriate privacy notices, obtain required permissions and limit staff access. Publicly publishing news, promotions and rewards makes that material visible to visitors. Public discovery listings may require KONEK review before appearing. Listing approval is not an endorsement, a guarantee of reward fulfillment or a statement that a business holds every required permit. A business remains responsible for its offers, products, representations and legal obligations.
Plans and payments
Use all available KONEK loyalty features free during early access. No subscription payment or payment card required. At full release, enjoy one additional free month, then ₱500/month if you choose to subscribe. We’ll announce the launch and subscription details in advance. No automatic charges. Early access has no scheduled end date. During early access, features may receive updates or fixes. Customized NFC products and separately agreed services are not included in free software access.
Your customer records, points balances, rewards and transaction history won’t be deleted just because early access ends. Continue with a subscription in the same workspace and pick up where you left off. This transition does not reset loyalty balances or require businesses to enroll their customers again. Account closure, a valid deletion request and legally required retention remain governed by the Privacy Policy.
Any paid plan, product or service must show its price, scope and applicable payment or refund conditions before purchase. A pending subscription request does not by itself prove payment or activate a paid plan. Review the applicable offer before accepting it. Mandatory consumer rights remain available.
Copyright and other rights
Rights in original KONEK software, branding and website content belong to their respective rights holders. Do not copy, resell or redistribute protected materials without permission or a lawful exception. Third-party software, trademarks and business uploads remain subject to their own rights and licenses. The copyright notice does not claim ownership of customer content, third-party assets or the general idea of an NFC loyalty program.
Availability, suspension and responsibility
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, failures or circumstances outside our control. Access may be limited to address security risks, unlawful conduct or violations of these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the performance of every participating business. Any limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not exclude responsibilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Devices, downloads and connected services
Use official KONEK download links and keep staff devices and the app updated. NFC and camera features require compatible hardware and permission; an internet connection is needed to confirm server transactions. A remembered session does not permit someone else to use your account. Secure shared devices and sign out before handing a device to another user or transferring it.
External map links and other connected services have their own terms and privacy practices. Businesses that authorize API credentials or connected systems must protect those credentials and ensure the access and information they share are appropriate. Do not publish private API keys, customer lists, PINs or claim codes.
Requests, closure and disputes
Request account help, closure, copyright review or platform dispute assistance through our contact form. For a privacy request, choose Services and begin your message with “Privacy request”. Include your account email and the business involved, but never your password, PIN or reward code. Customer reward issues should identify the participating business. Account closure and privacy requests are reviewed alongside transaction integrity and lawful retention duties. These Terms are intended for the Philippine service context and are subject to applicable Philippine law; mandatory rights and competent complaint processes are preserved.
Updates
Changes will be published with a new effective date. Material changes to the agreement will be brought to users' attention and fresh acceptance requested where appropriate. The version acknowledged at signup is recorded with the account.
